5 .Why doesn't my computer boot up after I install your SyncMAX module?
Answer: this can be a common occurrence with any brand of module. the most common errors when inserting the memory module are:
1.) not inserting the module properly into the slot (i.e., backwards or not fully inserted).

2.) after inserting the module, the bios cas latency setting is set differently than the cas latency setting of the module.

3.) motherboard incompatibility with the memory chips or memory module type..
6 .Why doesn't my computer only read half the memory (e.g.128MB instead of 256MB)?
Answer: either the bios on your motherboard is outdated or your motherboard is not compatible with the type of chips on the memory module.this is most common with 256mb modules with "32mx4" sdram chips. "32mx4 " is marked on the chips. If your motherboard is compatible, it is possible to download an updated bios from most manufacturers' web sites, but this should be done very carefully as a mistake in following their instructions could cause loss of the bios and render the motherboard useless until it can be reprogrammed by the manufacturer.
